Rotary limit switches Rotary limit switches are used to control and measure movement of industrial machinery by reading the rotation angle and/or counting the number of revolutions of a shaft. They operate as an auxiliary controller for electric motors through a power interface. The switch shaft can be connected to a motor and after a preset number of revolutions the cams operate a switch. Each cam can be set with a high accuracy due to precision cam adjusting screws.
